For children and families who are experiencing emotional, social and/or behavioral difficulties such as Attention Deficit, our clinics on 52nd Street as well as on Chester Avenue (in Philadelphia) provides a comprehensive program of assessment and quality patient treatment - complete psychiatric care (psychopharmacological, evaluation, and therapy), and psychological services (psychological testing, evaluation, and therapy). Treatment may include individual, family or group therapies, with a major emphasis on short-term solution-focused therapy or intensive therapy when necessary.
Depression can make you feel hopeless and helpless. Any other emotional problem, when untreated, can lead to more problems. But just taking the first step—deciding to get treatment—can make all the difference.
MHS services include individual, couples, family and group psychotherapy, Comprehensive Biopsychosocial Evaluation, medication management, psychological testing, etc. After the initial evaluation, individualized treatment plans are developed in cooperation with patients and their families.
Mobile Mental Health Treatment
This program provides individualized community-based psychiatric and psychological services which addresses the overall needs of the individual including educational, developmental, and emotional. Services are temporary and are provided in the home, school, or community and must be deemed medically necessary by a physician here at MHS.
Intensive Case
Management

for children and adolescents under the age of 21, who are returning from
psychiatric hospitalization or out-of-home placement. Small caseloads insure
frequent contacts within 24-hours, including on-call availability for patients
